Motorola introduces the Moto Tag: a versatile Bluetooth tracker

Motorola has just unveiled the Moto Tag along with the new Motorola Razr and Razr+. This Bluetooth tracker is designed to work with Google’s Find My Device Network, offering a reliable option to keep track of your belongings alongside products from Samsung and Pebblebee.

Versatile functionality

The Moto Tag can be attached to various items such as luggage, wallets, and keys to ensure that your valuables are always within reach. However, this tracker offers more than just location tracking.

Remote camera shutter feature

Unlike other similar products like the Galaxy Tag or AirTag, the Moto Tag can do much more than simply keeping your belongings nearby. In addition to helping you locate your phone by pressing a button on the tag, it also doubles as a remote camera shutter for Android devices. This innovative function eliminates the need to use a timer when taking selfies with the rear cameras.

Simple setup and customization

The Moto Tag is incredibly easy to set up thanks to Quick Pair technology. By turning on the Moto Tag near your smartphone, the Quick Pair page will automatically appear, allowing you to quickly configure your new device. Additionally, the Moto Tag app offers various customization options such as changing tag names, adjusting alert volumes, and monitoring battery life.

Designed for compatibility and durability

According to Motorola, the sleek design of the Moto Tag is specifically crafted to seamlessly fit with most third-party accessories on the market. Users can choose to pair their Moto Tag with a leather holder for added convenience. Furthermore, the Moto Tag is rated at IP67, making it resistant to dust, dirt, and water immersion up to one meter for 30 minutes. The device is powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery that can last up to a year.
