What’s New in Android 15 Beta 4?

Owners of Pixel phones, Pixel Fold, or Pixel Tablet can now access the fourth beta version of Android 15, with the stable release scheduled for August 13, coinciding with the Pixel 9 series launch.

The latest beta includes new features like Private Spaces and an improved AV1 video decoder, as well as finalized APIs for app developers to begin testing compatibility with the new additions and deprecated features.

One notable change is the deprecation of the PNG-based emoji font, transitioning to vector emojis for enhanced performance and user experience.

Apps designed for Android 15 are now available on the Google Play Store, giving beta OS users the option to download updated versions immediately or wait for the stable release.

Manufacturer Updates
