Alabama football quarterback Jalen Milroe recently became the proud owner of a video game console following the launch of the latest installment of EA Sports College Football 25. The franchise made its comeback after more than a decade, thanks to the introduction of name, image, and likeness in college sports. Milroe, along with his fellow Alabama teammates, made the decision to be featured in the game in February, which not only earned them a minimum of $600 each but also a complimentary copy of the game.

During a community party celebrating the release of CFB 25, Milroe expressed his excitement about finally having a PlayStation 5 console and being able to play video games for the first time. He highlighted the enjoyment of playing the game with friends and teammates, emphasizing the anticipation surrounding the return of the franchise. Milroe’s in-game performance is impressive, boasting an overall rating of 90, with standout attributes such as 91 speed, 93 acceleration, 75 strength, 92 awareness, and 89 jumping. Ranked No. 71 on EA’s Top 100 list, Milroe is recognized as the fifth-best quarterback in the game.

Despite his busy schedule at SEC Media Days, Milroe has had limited time to explore the game or discover his own in-game rating. Nonetheless, he expressed his gratitude for being featured in the game and shared his excitement about the long-awaited opportunity. In collaboration with The Lab Sports Performance Training Organization, Milroe also organized an event to connect with kids from underserved communities, allowing them the chance to interact with their idol and compete against him in the game. The winner of the competition received a free copy of CFB 25, and all proceeds from the event were donated to the Ivy Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting youth in West Alabama.
