Rockstar Games Fans Demand Removal of Annoying Feature in GTA 6

As the release of the highly anticipated GTA 6 approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the new installment from Rockstar Games. However, there is one specific request that fans have for the studio – the removal of a mechanic that has been frustrating gamers for over a decade.

When Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in 2013, players were irked to discover that in order to sprint, they had to repeatedly spam the assigned button on their controller.

Opting to hold down the button instead would only trigger the character’s jogging animation, forcing gamers to repeatedly press the button if they wanted to move faster with one of the three playable characters.

This mechanic has never felt intuitive or enjoyable for players, and the community is calling for its removal in GTA 6.

What Should Developer Avoid Introducing in GTA 6?

Aside from improving existing mechanics, the upcoming GTA 6 will need to introduce new elements to keep the series fresh and attract a larger audience.

The online mode in the previous game was a major success, and it is expected to make a return in GTA 6. However, developers should be cautious not to draw inspiration from current online games like Fortnite, which utilize features such as emote wheels. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what innovative features Rockstar Games will introduce in GTA 6.
