Samsung has recently initiated the deployment of the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S24 series in the US. This update, initially launched in South Korea, is also being made available for devices in operation in China.

The update comes with two different versions: S928USQU3AXH7 for US users and S9280ZHU3AXH7 for Chinese users. Despite the version differences, both updates have a similar download size of 2.8 GB. It is recommended that users download the update over Wi-Fi due to its large size.

Reports indicate that the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series includes various enhancements, such as the September 2024 security patch. Some users may find that the update contains the August 2024 security patch instead. Users can either wait for an automatic update notification on their devices or manually check for the update by visiting the Settings app, accessing Software Update, and selecting Download and Install.
