AstroPortrait mode expanding
Expanding on the success of the AstroPhoto mode, Samsung introduced the “AstroPortrait” mode on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 series. This mode combines captivating images of the night sky with regular photos of people or objects, resulting in visually stunning compositions.
What about Samsung Galaxy S23 and S24?
Samsung plans to extend the AstroPortrait mode to the Galaxy S23 and S24 series soon. This mode involves capturing two separate images – one focusing on subjects on Earth and the other on the night sky. The result is portraits with star-filled backgrounds, providing a unique and mesmerizing photography experience.

Availability of AstroPortrait mode
All Samsung Galaxy smartphones equipped with the Expert RAW app should eventually receive the AstroPortrait mode. While Samsung has not provided a specific release date for the update, users of S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra can expect to access this feature in the coming months. As for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, the former may not support the AstroPortrait mode due to hardware limitations, whereas the latter might receive it in the future.
